I just found the most amazing thing.  If you want to know who is linking back to you or if you want to know who is linking to your competition there is a really cool little trick that you can do with google!

Go to www.google.com

type: link: www.yourdomainname.com or link: www.yourcompetitionsdomainname.com

The list that will show up is all of the people who are in your market.  Amazing!!!

I just did a search for www.diannasandora.com, which is the site that I have had the longest and I was totally blown away by how many links I had!

Make a name for yourself:

A good way to increase those link backs is to go to other sites and make commits.  Instead of using some sort of cryptic username use your full name and also sign with your domain name.  Now make sure that while you are doing this that it is not blatant link posting, remember you are trying to get your name out these, but you don’t want to come off “spammy” either.    Join in the conversation.

Get your name, domain name. make sure if you have a blog or blogs that you always put your domain name in your posts and that those posts are available to the public.
